Joe Kawkabani

Joe is currently the CEO of CPC Africa, a holding company that develops and operates businesses across the African continent in building materials, logistics and industrial parks.

Joe has spent the last fifteen years specializing in frontier markets (Middle East and Africa), and has gained considerable experience in identifying, structuring, developing and managing investments and ventures in these regions.

Prior to CPC, Joe was a Venture Partner at Full Circle Investments, a MENA region investment advisory boutique, where he supported the company on buy-side advisory and investment management.

Joe was one of the Founding Partners of Willow Impact Investment, an SME private equity fund targeting both economic and social returns.

Previously, Joe was the Co-Founder of Algebra Capital and served as its Chief Investment Officer after its acquisition by Franklin Templeton.

Prior to founding Algebra Capital, Joe headed equity asset management at SHUAA Capital rapidly rising to head the Equity Asset Management business, managing near $1.0 billion in MENA equities. Joe began his career as an investment advisor at Arab Finance Corporation in Beirut.

Joe holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the Université Saint Joseph in Beirut.
